  • DESTINATION

In the heart of the left bank in the 14th district, Montparnasse is the perfect mix between tradition and modernity, cultural past and technological future. Known as the roaring 20's intellectual & artistic hub, Montparnasse is home to many theaters, museums, jazz bars, art galleries and cafes. 4 subway lines, several bus routes, one minute away from the train station, direct access to the main airports, it is an ideal location to wander through Paris streets, visits main attractions, enjoy people watching in Saint-Germain-des-Prés or go on a shopping spree in Le Bon Marché.

At the center of the district, Pullman Paris Montparnasse, is part of Paris’ most ambitious and largest urban rejuvenation project. Named “Les Ateliers Gaité”, the project includes a shopping mall, the biggest European food court with 25 restaurants (Food Society) and 13 000 sqm (139.931 sqft) of co-working space (Wojo).

TRANSFORMATION STORY

Since it opened in the 1970s, the hotel has lived up to the pioneering spirit enforced by George Pullman, founder of the brand in 1897.

The hotel has always been a benchmark in terms of technical innovations.
For this transformation, CUT ARCHITECTURES was an obvious choice to rethink the hotel into an innovative and connected place to work, play and press on the pause button. Created in 2005 by Benjamin Clarens and Yann Martin, CUT ARCHITECTURES shakes common believes, expectations and evident trends. The agency breaks and blurs the limits between architecture, urban planning, interior design and art.
They have put down walls and open spaces in public areas and guestrooms, creating a harmonious atmosphere with unique universes.

Since December 2021, Pullman Paris Montparnasse is no longer “just” a hotel but a destination in its own right.
